This is full-time, permanent, an on-site position (Silverdale, Auckland) working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work, if required.In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately costing projects to ensure smooth, uninterrupted manufacturing and delivery of high-quality frames and trusses. You'll work closely with our production and detailing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with NZS3604 standards.What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in the building supplies or frame and truss industry
• Strong understanding of construction methodology and NZS3604:2011
• Familiarity with MiTek software (preferred)
• National Certificate in Frame and Truss Manufacturing or a Quantity Surveying qualification (ideal, but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in costing and quoting
• A continuous improvement mindset (lean manufacturing experience a bonus)
• Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver's License
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  
  

Your Day-to-Day

• Prepare accurate quotes, costing sheets, and manual drawings for a range of projects
• Ensure all jobs are costed correctly to support production and profitability targets
• Liaise with project managers, detailers, architects, designers, and engineers to ensure accuracy
• Monitor job profitability and ensure compliance with NZS3604 standards
• Minimize interruptions to production by providing clear and accurate information
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes
