Reporting to the GM People & Capability, you will develop, implement, and deliver an organisation-wide learning and development strategy that lifts capability across our teams — from leadership development to operational skills training.
You’ll work closely with managers across Vitaco’s New Zealand and Australian teams, designing, coordinating, and delivering initiatives that strengthen leadership, compliance, and professional skills. If you love building capability, seeing tangible progress, and being right where the action happens, this is the role for you.
Experience in manufacturing or operational environments and coaching capability will be highly regarded.

- Deliver a cohesive annual learning and development calendar aligned to business and operational needs.
- Design and deliver practical training programmes blending digital and face-to-face learning.
- Partner with managers to drive career development, leadership growth, and skills uplift.
- Embed and maintain operational tools and programmes.
- Lead onboarding and compliance training to meet regulatory requirements in New Zealand and Australia.
- Manage external providers to ensure timely, business-focused training delivery.
- Leverage digital learning tools to enhance engagement and accessibility.
- Track and report on learning impact using simple, effective measures.
- Coach and support managers to develop and grow their teams.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years' generalist HR experience, and at least 3years in a senior L&D role.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Hands-on experience delivering learning initiatives in a manufacturing, operational, or high-paced environment.
- Confident in coaching people leaders to build skills and performance (coaching experience a bonus).
- Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
- Strong commercial awareness, linking learning directly to business outcomes.
- Passion for lifelong learning — both your own and others.
