Metal Fabricator

Are you skilled in metal fabrication and ready to join a dynamic team in a growing industry? TBA ALUMINUM WINDOWS is looking for 4 experienced and motivated Metal Fabricators to help us meet the increasing demand for our high-quality aluminum window products. This is a full-time role, you will work at least 30 hours every week.

Key responsibilities:

• Blueprint Interpretation: Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job, material, and equipment requirements.
• Material Selection and Preparation: Select metal stock, such as aluminum, and check sizes, gauges, and other dimensions against specifications.
• Making and Cutting: Mark out metal stock with reference points and lines using templates, gauges, and other measuring instruments. Cut metal stock along guidelines using hand and power shears, guillotines, and drills.
• Shaping and Forming: Shape and form cut metal stock into products using folding and bending machines, rollers, presses, and hammers.
• Assembly and Joining: Fit and assemble components into final products by welding, riveting, soldering, brazing, and other joining methods.
• Finishing: Finish products by polishing, filing, sanding, and cleaning assembled products.
• Quality Assurance: Examine welds for width of bead, penetration, and precision; perform necessary repairs or reworks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year proven experience in metal fabrication or a related trade.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
