Join our team at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin as a Chef de Partie. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving high-quality food, ensuring all tasks are performed with due regard for Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations. This is a Permanent Full Time Position.
Ko o Kawenga / Your Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards.
- Assemble and prepare ingredients, including dairy, dry goods, fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood, and poultry.
- Maintain quality control and ensure consumer satisfaction by exceeding expectations.
- Receive and store kitchen supplies, ensuring proper rotation and maintenance.
- Clean and maintain kitchen premises, including equipment and surfaces, and handle waste and linen appropriately.
- NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent.
- Previous experience cooking in a similar environment.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner.
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Physically fit, reliable, and able to pass a police clearance.
