Our Energy & Utilities business is seeking a Trainee Distribution Line Mechanic to join our experienced team in Matamata. Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll work alongside our experienced Line Mechanics, learning a sought-after trade and valuable skills to become a qualified Distribution Line Mechanic.

You’ll get out and about in the region, working on different sites every day, doing hands-on physical work, operating heavy machinery, and working outside in all weather conditions.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

• Current Class 1 Full NZ Drivers Licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle required; Class 2 preferred
• A strong commitment to safety
• Knowledge of or previous experience in the Electricity industry would be an advantage
• A can-do attitude
