About the Role

This role is responsible for assisting the RMO Unit in providing seamless, proactive coordination and administration services to the day-to-day management of Resident Medical Officers (RMOs). Key function of the role is to effectively coordinate workforce-planning, implementation, rostering (including electronic pay rostering) and leave management, as well as pastoral care and management of Resident Medical Officers (RMOs).

The position is covered by the PSA National Health Administration Workers Collective Agreement.

About you

We are looking for a self-starter with a can-do attitude who has the ability to inspire and influence others to action. You will be a process-driven, administrative superstar with a strong work ethic and superb attention to detail.

Ideally, you will bring the following skills and experience:

  • 3-5 years previous administration or coordination experience
  • Proven organisational skills including strong attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of administration policies, systems and procedures
  • Balanced outlook that lends to fast, pragmatic decisions and actions based on sound judgment
  • Demonstrated experience in adapting to time-critical demands including ability to manage workload and priorities
  • Previous experience in health or another public sector environment would be desirable
