We’re working with a global retail brand launching in New Zealand and looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead their local setup. This is an initial six-month contract, based in South Auckland, with the potential for some work-from-home days. There’s potential for the role to extend or go permanent.

You’ll be the sole HR lead on the ground, reporting into the offshore GM of HR, and responsible for supporting a workforce of 400–500 across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role where you’ll build the HR function from scratch, covering ER, advisory, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and everything in between.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven HR generalist experience
• Background in retail or similar fast-paced, multi-site environments
• Confident working independently and making decisions
• Strong ER experience and comfort managing a 400–500 person workforce
• Availability to start in the next few weeks
