Produce Assistant - 20 Hours

New World Te Puke is looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our Produce Team on a part-time basis.

You’ll be joining a friendly, dedicated team that takes pride in providing high-quality produce and excellent customer service to our valued customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Restocking shelves
• Assisting customers
• Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times

What we’re looking for:

• Physical fitness – you'll be on your feet all day, lifting and moving stock
• Ability to regularly lift heavy crates (15kg or more)
• Quick on your feet to keep up with the pace of the store
• A strong customer service focus – you’ll be interacting with customers often
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliability – we’re a close-knit team and you’ll be missed when you're not here!
• A good work ethic and the ability to handle pressure
• The ability to cope with the seasonal demands of working in a small team

Days and Hours:

• To be discussed at interview
