About the Role

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Retail Leader to take charge of a key portfolio of departments at our Whangaparaoa store. This full-time, permanent role reports to the Store Manager and offers the opportunity to lead and inspire teams across Front End, External Gardens, Homewares, Lighting, Electrical, and Seasonal. You’ll be responsible for driving exceptional customer service, supporting daily operations, coaching your teams, and ensuring high standards of store presentation and performance across your areas.

Your Day-to-Day

• Lead and coach teams across multiple departments to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Manage rosters, breaks, and day-to-day operations
• Troubleshoot customer service issues with empathy and professionalism
• Ensure high standards of stock presentation, merchandising, and checkout efficiency
• Work alongside the Retail Manager to support staff development and drive store initiatives
• Foster cross-department collaboration and team morale
