Senior QS / Estimator - Civil Construction

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior QS / Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing cost estimation and financial analysis for civil construction projects, ensuring each one is completed on budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team leader
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including earthworks, drainage and site preparation
• Conduct risk and value management as well as cost control
• Analyse tender documents and collaborate with project managers to prepare competitive bids
• Maintain documentation and records, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure clear communication and project success

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of costing software and estimation tools.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Project.
