Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior QS / Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing cost estimation and financial analysis for civil construction projects, ensuring each one is completed on budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team leader
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including earthworks, drainage and site preparation
- Conduct risk and value management as well as cost control
- Analyse tender documents and collaborate with project managers to prepare competitive bids
- Maintain documentation and records, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure clear communication and project success
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry.
- Strong working knowledge of costing software and estimation tools.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Project.
