Centred amongst all the action is our Cage team servicing our customers with all transactional needs.

About the role:

As a Cashier within our Cage department you'll be responsible for providing efficient and professional service to all our customers. You'll be working from the Cashiering window and you'll make sure our customers feel welcome when they arrive and help with any transaction request. The environment is a busy one so the ability to multitask and think on your feet will hold you in good stead, also doing so with a positive attitude and a huge smile on your face.

This is a full-time opportunity working 40 hours/week across a variety of shifts including nights and weekends.

About you

It'll be your winning attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work under pressure which will make you a great fit for SkyCity, along with the following:

• Previous cash-handling experience - a previous banking background would be great!
• Fantastic interpersonal skills and be a confident and clear communicator
• A head for numbers - strong maths skills are an important element of this role
• Strong data entry skills
• You'll be working in a highly regulated environment, so you'll be comfortable working within set policies and guidelines
• Attention to detail along with accuracy will be some of your top skills.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Have a good credit and criminal history - the role will require a gaming licence so these checks will be done
• Be 20 years old or over due to gaming licensing requirements
