The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Development, this is a hands-on role providing support across the Brand and External Communications (BEX) team. You will ensure smooth running and delivery of on-time, on-budget, excellent outcomes across brand, design, content, events and external communications. The role also includes hands on creative work, working alongside creative leaders.

Office-based working environment, work from our Christchurch, New Zealand office three or more days per week.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Development, this is a hands-on role providing support across the Brand and External Communications (BEX) team. You will ensure smooth running and delivery of on-time, on-budget, excellent outcomes across brand, design, content, events and external communications. The role also includes hands on creative work, working alongside creative leaders.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Seequent Studio by triaging tasks to balance workload and priorities, and monitoring progress to ensure high-quality work is delivered on time and within budget.
- Support vendor onboarding and management by setting up system profiles, creating vendor profiles, and handling invoicing.
- Ensure Quality Assurance for self-service work by applying brand guidelines correctly.
- Manage asset management for all work leaving the Seequent Studio by using the correct taxonomy, uploading files/assets in a timely manner, and following storage/archive principles.
- Manage the customer logo approvals process and supporting BI report by ensuring this information is up to date and easy for the Customer Experience team to reference.
- Manage the workflow tool for BEX (currently ClickUp) and act as a super user, including implementing process changes.
- Ensure media subscriptions are maintained on an annual basis and shared with relevant stakeholders internally.
- Support the production of BEX reporting, including media and event reporting, creative task analysis and reporting, and brand tracker reporting.
- Manage the BEX mailboxes and act as a knowledgeable, single point of contact for BEX.
- Support brand, external communications, content, event, and design projects by creating content, performing basic design and copywriting, and handling administrative tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
- 5-6 years' experience, preferably working with agency partners/stakeholders to bring initiatives to life.
- Experience in a matrix/complex/global organization is preferred.
- Experience in an in-house studio, or agency is desirable.
- Experience in turning audience insight into compelling, on-brand content that engages (with experience in tools like Adobe, Canva or equivalent) is desirable.
- Attention-to-detail-mindset, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines (with experience in tools like ClickUp, Optimizely or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain clear and concise communication across all levels.
- Strong stakeholder and account management skills
- Basic budget management including setting up of contracts, raising purchase requests and supporting budget reporting.
