Used Car Sales Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Used Vehicle Sales Manager or a Senior Sales Consultant who is ready to take the next step in their career and join the team at Northland Toyota. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in automotive sales, and the ability to drive our sales team to achieve and exceed targets. This role requires a proactive approach to managing all aspects of the sales department, including customer satisfaction, sales performance, and team development.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Used Vehicle Sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise profitability Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, adjusting tactics to meet goals Ensure the sales team provides exceptional customer service Train, mentor, and motivate sales staff to enhance their performance and professional growth Collaborate with your team to develop and execute promotional campaigns Maintain a deep understanding of the automotive market and industry trends Oversee inventory management to ensure an optimal mix of vehicles Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, or in a similar role within the automotive industry Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities In-depth knowledge of the automotive market and sales processes Ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering top-notch service A full NZ driver's license
