We’re looking for a bold, visionary marketing leader to elevate AsureQuality’s brand, market strategy, and customer engagement.
This newly created leadership role builds on the strength of our existing marketing practice and takes it to the next level. As our Head of Strategic Marketing, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our emerging product management discipline across the business —keeping a strategic eye on new product development happening in every division. Plus, directly lead a talented team of four in marketing.
Reporting to the Group Manager of Customer Solutions, you’ll drive insight-led decision-making, champion our go-to-market approach, and ensure our offerings are well-positioned to meet the changing needs of customers and the industry.

This is a full-time, permanent role based ideally at our Mt Wellington (Auckland) Head Office or Burnside (Christchurch) office on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a company-wide marketing strategy aligned with customer insights, market dynamics, and business goals
- Govern our Product Management discipline, ensuring products are developed, evolved, and positioned to deliver strong customer and commercial outcomes
- Champion data-driven marketing practices, including content, digital, and campaign strategy to increase demand and customer engagement
- Collaborate across teams—including Sales, Operations, and Innovation—to build meaningful customer journeys and a high-trust brand
- Coach and develop a talented in-house team of marketing professionals
Key Requirements:
- Significant experience in senior marketing or product strategy roles, preferably in technical food based or regulated sectors
- Deep experience in strategic marketing, growth planning, and product lifecycle management
- Strong commercial skills including pricing strategy, forecasting, and P&L ownership
- A collaborative, people-first leadership style with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or Commerce (bonus points for Science or Primary Industry experience)
