Te Arotahi Matua - Primary Focus Of The Role

As the Group Retail Systems Coordinator, you will work closely with onsite Retail Coordinators to maintain the integrity of data within the Ibis Point of Sales system for retail products. Your responsibilities will include managing the loading of new products and promotions, ensuring acceptable margins, and accurate reporting. You will also oversee stocktakes at various locations, support onsite Coordinators/Managers, and implement loss prevention measures to maintain consistency in processes. This part-time role, requiring 20 hours per week, is intended to be worked in conjunction with a current employee's substantive role based at a Ngāi Tahu Tourism location.

Retail Systems

  • Load new products into the shared retail database.
  • Create retail promotions ensuring consistency.
  • Ensure margins are acceptable for new products.
  • Review current margins and retail pricing.
  • Provide support around the use of the IBIS system and BC integration.
  • Oversee stocktakes and implement loss prevention measures.

Additional Duties

  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Travel will be required.

Ngā Pūkenga - Experience

  • 3-5 years in retail stock management and margin enhancement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant software.
  • Knowledge of IBIS or ability to quickly learn.
  • Familiarity with BC and IBIS integration.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Online e-commerce experience is advantageous.

Ngā Tohu Mātauranga - Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
