He angitutanga | About the role
You will provide hands on support to the Director Northern South Island Region (NSI) in this fast-paced environment through email/diary management, meeting organisation, minute taking, workflow coordination, travel coordination and other administrative tasks. Your role will be crucial in supporting the Director and the wider teams to achieve core deliverables for the region.

We're after someone who's proactive, relationship-focussed, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you have some of the following, we are keen to hear from you:
- Highly organised with the ability to manage schedules, calendars, and tasks effectively.
- Ability to manage the shifting priorities of the Director and be ok and prepared to pivot if things don't go as planned.
- Strong time management skills, especially when juggling multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Excellent communications, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Teams and PowerPoint).
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Desirable:
- A solid understanding of central government and public service environments.
- Familiarity with te ao Maori and a commitment to upholding Treaty partnerships.
