A little bit about the role:
As a Graphic Designer you will be an integral member of the Creative Services Team. We are looking for someone who can collaborate, learn and is ready to roll up their sleeves from day one. In this role you will design and produce artwork across various media, maintaining brand consistency and a high standard of work. As part of the wider marketing team you will have a desire to go above and beyond for the best outcomes for any given project. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, who can manage multiple projects. You need to be proactive, passionate and have a broad knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Produce cohesive designs across all media, maintaining brand consistency
- Work alongside the Creative Services Manager to produce and create artwork in adherence to the Kathmandu brand guidelines
- Collaborate on projects to contribute fresh design ideas and concepts, actively participating in the enhancement of the brand
- Develop an understanding of our target audience and produce relevant and appealing creative solutions
- Collaborate extensively with marketing and visual merchandising teams on projects to bring our instore experience to life
- Assist in the preparation of instore visual materials such as point of sale posters and displays
- Contribute to the creation of captivating lightbox visuals for in-store displays
- Collaborate on in-store design features as required, aligning them with brand aesthetics and customer insights
- Support the online and digital teams in the creation of digital assets including website and paid media assets.
- Manage multiple projects from start to finish, adhering to deadlines and stakeholder requirements
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all design work
- Seek context and information in order to demonstrate an understanding of a project across multiple touchpoints

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- A degree in Graphic Design, with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite/InDesign, Apple Software.
- A base knowledge of Figma and a keenness to learn.
- Strong design, layout, and proofreading skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented, organised, and deadline-driven.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and creativity.
- Experience in creating and outputting print quality artwork
- Video editing experience, not essential but highly desirable.
- Experience working in dynamic environments desirable.
