We are inviting expressions of interest for an Investment Associate to join our team at Ngāi Tahu Holdings. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team managing a $2Bn portfolio across commercial property, farming, forestry, seafood, tourism, and listed investments. Based in Ōtautahi (Christchurch), you will gain hands-on experience in corporate finance, investment strategy, and M&A across a range of industries.

He Kōrero Mōu - About You

• 3+ years' experience in corporate finance, M&A, or a similar field.
• Strong financial modelling and business case development skills.
• Sound commercial judgment and an analytical mindset.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Progress toward a CFA or similar qualification (an advantage).
• A commitment to deepening your knowledge of Ngāi Tahu values, tikanga, and te reo Māori.
  
  

Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial modelling, due diligence, and valuation analysis.
• Assist with M&A transactions and investment strategy.
• Research industries and assess new investment opportunities.
• Prepare investment cases and reports.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of existing investments.
• Engage with portfolio company management and external advisors.
