- Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, motors, valves, piping, controls, and other pump station equipment
- Respond to pump station alarms and troubleshoot issues
- Operate pump stations to maintain proper flow levels
- Collect and record operational data
- Perform grounds maintenance tasks around pump station sites
- Follow safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout and confined space entry
- Conducting basic electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response
- Technical training in wastewater operations or mechanics preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in the 3 waters operations and maintenance industry
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., wastewater operator certification)
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, pumps, valves, and control systems
- Ideally experience - Connexis L4, Riggers Ticket, CSE, BA and Gas detection
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in using computers and software for data entry and record-keeping
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
