What will you do?

We are seeking a Senior Advisor to provide support in Fire and Emergency Management. This role is responsible for ensuring all villages have compliant, fit-for-purpose fire safety and emergency management systems, procedures, equipment, and training. You will work closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement best practices, respond to incidents, and drive continuous improvement.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Investigating and resolving issues in fire safety and emergency response
  • Supporting and participating in incident/emergency responses
  • Providing debriefings for disaster exercises and unplanned events to develop improvement plans
  • Supporting warden training, fire evacuation drills, and maintaining evacuation scheme documentation
  • Conducting assessments of regional risk profiles and ensuring villages are prepared for emergencies
  • Providing monthly reports to the H&S committee
