About the Role
Our Haematology department is IANZ accredited and provides a 24-hour service for Middlemore and Kidz First Hospitals and the Manukau Health Park. Our department is involved in teaching technical and medical staff and has close links with the Clinical Haematology service.
About the Team/Service/Location
We perform a range of diagnostic haematology testing using automated systems for cell counts, cell morphology and coagulation testing and have a special haematology section which assists with the collection and processing of bone marrow samples and performs haemoglobinopathy and thalassaemia screening. Our department is a dynamic, progressive laboratory run by a professional and well-motivated team.
We currently have a vacancy for a permanent, full-time MLS position. You will be expected to work a rotating roster of shifts that would include weekend and evening shifts and participate in a call roster.
