The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified HV Cable Jointer to take on a dynamic role involving travel to national projects for High Voltage (HV) terminations. Between HV assignments, you’ll assist with general electrical work, making this an ideal position for someone looking to broaden their skills in the electrical industry and potentially transition into a fully qualified electrician role. This hands-on position suits a motivated individual eager to grow their career while delivering high-quality work.

Duties

  • Perform HV cable jointing and terminations to a high standard on national projects.
  • Assist with general electrical installation and maintenance tasks between HV assignments.
  • Collaborate with teams across various sites, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold health and safety practices.
  • Adapt to diverse work environments and project demands with flexibility and professionalism.

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Cable Jointer with relevant certifications.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for project work.
  • Experience in electrical work (an advantage, but not essential).
  • A proactive attitude and desire to expand skills within the electrical trade.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and delivering quality outcomes.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
