Description:
We at HARI DARSHAN CATERING LIMITED T/A BURGER WISCONSIN are looking for a motivated and committed Store Manager to join our team at our restaurant in Gisborne. You will be responsible for the Restaurant's operation and providing excellent customer service. We guarantee a minimum of 32 hours per week and a pay rate between $31.00 and $32.00 p/h.
You will be required to work according to the roster. You need to be available on weekends and public holidays, as well as on floating and split shifts.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth running of the Restaurant by keeping staffing up to date.
- Monitor inventory levels through stock ordering and daily and spot inventory checks, assuring the staff makes correct receiving and stocking.
- Ensure regular stock-taking and that products received correspond to orders.
- Responsible for pricing the dishes based on the dish's cost and the business's profitability.
- Pricing the product in the best interests of the business, to attract more customers and improve profitability.
- Conduct quality checks of products.
- Observe and ensure the overall appearance and cleanliness of the Restaurant.
- Direct and organise training programs to keep Restaurant staff informed and knowledgeable of Restaurant products.
- Coordinate with suppliers for Inventory regularly.
- Ensure staff is trained in proper customer relations skills and sales techniques to maintain a high quality of service to the public.
- Be competent in cash handling and aid in preparing daily sales reports, deposit preparation, and change orders.
- Responsible for cash security; prepared daily bank deposits and matched cash with daily sales summary.
- Perform all other related duties and responsibilities as apparent or as assigned.
- Listen to client feedback/complaints and ensure they are actioned accordingly.
- Identify current and future customer requirements and maintain the Inventory accordingly.
- Identify and implement improvement methods and generate promotional ideas to increase sales.
- Create and run various marketing campaigns to generate more business in the restaurant.
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
- Monitor the actions of staff and customers to ensure that health and safety standards are obeyed.
- Forecast, review, and motivate the team to meet weekly KPI targets related to Sales, food costs, labour costs, average delivery time, etc.
- Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all Restaurant operations and all applicable laws and regulations.
Skills and Experience required:
- Minimum 2-3 Years of relevant experience required to work as a Store Manager. However, a Diploma or bachelor’s degree can substitute the relevant work Experience requirement.
- Need to be mature and handle responsibilities during shifts for the Restaurant and staff independently.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not essential as detailed training will be provided to the selected candidate.
- Ability to work in a Multicultural Environment. Possess motivational and leadership skills.
- Team player and ability to work competently under pressure.
- Must be able to work across any shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Must be a fit, quick thinker, reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
- Able to lift weights up to 25kg.
- Must be able to pass random drug test
