The Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to take charge of our operations, ensuring smooth receiving, storage, and distribution processes. If you have a strong leadership mindset, expertise in warehouse optimization, and a passion for improving processes, we want to hear from you!
This is a permanent, full-time role and we offer a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week of work. We offer competitive remuneration between $32- $40 per hour based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and execute warehouse management strategies to optimize space and inventory control.
- Lead and mentor the warehouse team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Negotiate and improve coordination with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams.
- Monitor stock levels and implement systems to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and service providers.
- Generate operational reports to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have gained relevant industry qualification to efficiently carry out the responsibilities of this role.
- Proven experience at supervisor/ managerial level for at least one year or more is required in the absence of the qualification requirement.
- Availability to work in early morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to optimize warehouse operations and improve workflow efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
