Truck Driver

We are seeking to employ more drivers to accommodate the demand of the logistics. We are offering a full-time minimum 30 hours per week role. You may have to work 12 hours shift or 5 days, which would be 60 hours maximum per week. Minimum pay rate is $30 / hour but we can offer up to $32 / hour depending on your experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 6 wheeler truck or a tractor unit along with different combination of trailers.
• Delivering and picking up containers from the places advised by the contracted company.
• Provide paperwork for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Restraining your load according to the NZ law.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standard.
• Training new staff and monitoring their performance if required.
• Transporting company’s vehicle if required.
• Fill up the vehicle / trailer, top up the vehicle with ad blue (if required).
• Wash the truck on proposed days.
• Report to the director if any breakdown.

Requirements

• You are required to have a New Zealand or overseas truck driving license. Onsite training would be provided to the overseas applicants.
• Dangerous good and a forklift licence would be an advantage.
