To ensure the smooth operation of our studio, we are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage our inventory, procurement, and logistics, helping us deliver the best experience for our clients.

Job Overview

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain operations within our studio. This includes ensuring that all photography equipment, materials, and client products are sourced, stored, and delivered efficiently. You will work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to maintain stock levels, optimize costs, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Track and manage stock levels of photography equipment, studio supplies, and client products (e.g., photo prints, frames, albums).
  • Supplier Coordination: Build and maintain relationships with vendors to manage procurement, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Organize and oversee the shipment, receipt, and storage of supplies and products across multiple studio locations.
  • Order Processing: Ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time, coordinating between suppliers and internal teams.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain while maintaining quality standards.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the photography, sales, and operations teams to align supply chain activities with studio needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly address and resolve supply chain disruptions to minimize operational impact.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or inventory management is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management software.
  • Ability to analyse data and forecast supply needs based on studio demand.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for managing suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and creative environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • A full, unrestricted driver’s license is essential for this role.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants for this position must have New Zealand or Australian citizenship, New Zealand residency, or a valid New Zealand work visa.
