An opportunity has become available for a Project Manager for Downer’s Energy & Utilities business unit reporting to the Southern Operations Manager. The Project Manager will manage assigned projects to specification, within budget and within agreed timeframes, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard of quality in an efficient & safe manner. About The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Project Manager for Downer’s Energy & Utilities business unit reporting to the Southern Operations Manager. The Project Manager will manage assigned projects to specification, within budget and within agreed timeframes, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard of quality in an efficient & safe manner. The ideal candidate will envision themselves attending to duties such as:
- Manage projects to specification, within budget and within agreed timeframes
- Conduct quality audits of work to ensure compliance with contract documents, design & construction standards, legislation, regulations and network operation standards
- Monitor and report on project expenditure and revenues to pro-actively control profitable outcomes on all projects. Escalate any issues that may impact on deliverables
- Provide quality engineering, design and estimation services, quotations and as-built information to the client
- Ensure appropriate Project Management Methodology (PMM) and quality assurance systems are in place
- Proven Project Management experience
- Practical knowledge of engineering design standards
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills
